Little Yogis

Mama thought that since we were staying Fuengirola for 3 months that I should do some yoga lessons and some swimming lessons.  So this is my mate Monica.  https://almayogablog.wordpress.com/una-clase-de-hatha-yoga/ She comes twice a week and spends 20 minutes with me and then Mama has her lesson.  I really look forward to Monica coming.  I like to chat to her.  Mama says less chatting, more yogoing.
The first thing she does is ask me to choose a word and to take a deep breath and sing the word.
Monica picks words like sun and moon and sea.  When it's my turn to pick a word, I like to sing fire truck or digger and last week I chose dirt.
Singing my words
Having a snooze
I do a great relaxation with Monica.  Sometimes Mama thinks I've fallen asleep.  She asks me why I can't do some relaxation at six in the morning.
Me and my cat
Then I do all kinds of animals.  I like the lion best because I get to roar with my tongue out.  I do a cobra and a bee and a butterfly and a cat and a fish and an eagle.  I keep asking for a bear but apparently there isn't one.
The boat
There is also a boat and a bridge.
The bridge
But this one is my favourite because I made it up ages ago.  It is my own design and I think I might call it the firetruck.
The firetruck

Big as a house
Small as a mouse
I do a little bit of wriggling but then I say Namaste and daddy takes me to the park.

Things for Grandparents to do in Fuengirola

So we took Nanny and Ganggang for a day out in Malaga.Mama and Daddy cleared off shopping and I showed then around the Alcazabar.
Everyone having a good time in Malaga
We went for a nice lunch down a back street.
Menu del dia
I like Malaga.  Nanny and Granddad then looked after me for the day whilst Mama and Daddy climbed a mountain.  It was sunny when they left.
On top of Old Smokey
And then it was Nanny's birthday and Fuengirola put a carnival on.
What is this behind us?
At the carnival there were all these strange creatures which wante dto hold my hand.  So I held their hands for an uncomfortably long time.  I then checked in their pockets and looked under their tails to see if they had a bumbum.  They didn't.
New friends
I dressed up for Nanny's birthday and we threw a party for her.
Nanny's birthday
And then they left.  I thought they might come back but they didn't.
The next day my Lollo left too.  I thought we might persuade him to miss his flight again but he left.  Now I just have Mama and Daddy.  They aren't boring me yet but nearly.

Favourite Days out in Fuengirola. Marvellous Malaga

Oh the train
Have I mentioned I like train rides? We all caught the train to Malga.  Uncle Lollo tells me everything that is happening out side of the window.
Me and the boys
We had a lovely time walking through the streets.
Michael Jackson
We met a puppet doing a dance.
The Alcazabar
And then we went into the Alcazabar which was great.
Me
It had walls which we could climb on and which made Mama nervous.
A Keyhole
It had lots of arches and doorways to run through.
Views
It had views from everywhere.
A column
It had a column or two.
Water fountain
It had a water fountain.
Gardens
Gardens to chase round
Geraniums
and plant pots to trip over
Another Fountain
and more water to play in
A stream
and streams to float leaves down.
Another view

Another garden

More water
It had something for everyone.  Then we went to the botanical garden.
What are you looking at?
And then to the port.
What are you doing up there?
It was a fabulous day.  And I had to be carried home.

Favourite days out in Fuengirola. Butterflies and Buddha

On the train again
Uncle Lollo was supposed to be going home and had decided he would like to go to the butterfly house at Benalmadena's Mariposario.  I was very excited because we got to go on the train.
Me and Buddha
On top of the hill above the old town of Benalmadena there is a Buddhist temple with a great big gold dome.
My Cousins
So we all went in and had a good look around.
Mucking About
And then we came out again and mucked about.  There was a great view from the top.
Butterflies
And then we went inside the butterfly house which was hot.
A Butterfly tree
And there were LOADS of butterflies.
Another Butterfly
The best bit was a window full of pupae which looked like drops of gold.
Butterflies hatching

And there was a great big lizard watching us.

Lizard
I was very happy because I was with my cousins.
Leven
And I think they liked it too.
Feeding the fish
When we came out we went to the old town of Benalmadena Pueblo. And there were great views there too.

But best of all I learnt to slide down a pole like a fireman.

Uncle Lollo in the Smollo brings big box but misses flight

Daddy pushing a Bloody Big Box
Oh my darling Uncle Lollo is here.  We went to meet him at the airport and he was carrying a small bag and a bloody big box.  He said thebloody big box was for me.  I was very excited so we unwrapped it immediately and inside was a bicycle.  A proper one with brakes and pedals and everything.
Churros
First things first.  We took Uncle Lollo for churros and chocolate.
Showing Uncle Lollo how to eat it
And then we tried the bicycle out.
Daddy showing how it is done
Daddy had a good time on it and I could ride it but haven't got the hang of pedalling yet.
Giving it a go
Every morning I get Uncle lollo up.  Nice and early.
Reading the morning papers
And we do things together.
Catching a bus with Uncle Lollo to Mijas
And he teaches me things.  Like how to say 'Flippin Eck'.  And how to do an extra loud burp and shout Boo so loudly that all the people on the promenade jump.

Looking at picture
We spend quite a bit of time on the sofa together too.
Snoozing with Lollo
And chatting.
Chatting with Lollo

But my favourite thing of all to do with Uncle Lollo is to go swimming in the sea.  We had such a good time that he missed his flight and is staying another 2 weeks.  I've gone off Cheeses now I have Lollo.
